Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, but his character may look a little different in the third film, including his physicality. Holland admits that he refuses to wear a wig to make his hair look more like Peter Parker.
Holland will also be joining Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Peter, Spider-Man’s closest friend who also knew Peter Parkes’ identity from the start. Tony Revolori will also return as Flash Thompson, who is obsessed with Spider-Man, but constantly belittles Peter Parker.
Hannibal Buress also looks set to return as Coach Wilson after sharing a few videos on set. Another star who confirmed their involvement was JB Smoove as Peter’s teacher Julius Dell.
Benedict Cumberbatch will appear as Doctor Strange, taking on the mentor role that Tony Stark and Nick Fury filled in the previous films. The first trailer confirms that Peter is looking for help to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man.
